The stages
Nursery
Play-based, language-rich, and the year a child decides whether school is for them.
18 months – 4 years
Primary
Reading, writing and number taught properly, with science, computing, French, art, music and sport every week.
4 – 12 years
A day at GFS

Arrival, 7:45am
Gate check-in — every child is signed in by name, and parents get the confirmation.

Morning learning
The core subjects, when concentration is best. Two blocks with a break between them.

Lunch and play
A supervised meal and time outside. The youngest children rest afterwards.

Afternoon
Projects, art, music, sport and library. Clubs on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- 5
Home time, 3:30pm
Signed out to an adult the school has verified — nobody else.
